I was (obsessively) looking at my site stats today – another reason I love WordPress – and decided maybe it was time to share the google searches with all of you. I don’t promise to be nearly as clever as everyone else who does this sort of thing, but I’m gonna do it anyway.
Without further ado, here are this week’s google searches that led you to me:
Um, no. Just no. For those of you who don’t know, a Kybo is a toilet in the woods (acronym for Keep Your Bowels Open). “Kybo Crunchies” sounds like the name of a recipe, and no recipe should involve a Kybo. EVER.
Sorry, wrong letter of the alphabet. I’m much fonder of writing about my utter lack of Vitamin D and the resulting craving I have for sunshine.
Montessori My Home
You’ve come to the right place, and I promise there will be lots more posts like this, as soon as I’m back in my home. In the meantime, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Montessori” (in the category cloud) to see all my Montessori-related posts. Happy Reading!
Just wanted to let you know that I don’t have the amount of web access I’d like, and that’s why posts have been (and will continue to be) kind of thin. I’ll be back to posting almost daily when I’m back home… around March 6. In the meantime, yer gets what yer gets.
Well, I don’t know about my airplane yet. We may yet fly out of here tomorrow.
But tomorrow’s regularly scheduled post, Work-in-Progress Wednesday, might be canceled due to snow. Actually, lack thereof. If we don’t fly out tomorrow, I’ll post. If we do, you might not hear from me for a couple of days.
Don’t worry, I’ll be typing up tons of posts so that when I get some free WiFi, I’ll be able to set up some scheduled posting.
In the meantime, stay safe and warm. Oh, and leave me comments on your favourite posts. I love comments.
K dropped it. It’s not the first (or second, or even fifth) time that my computer has fallen, but this was the fatal blow. After trying everything, even after taking it to the Genius Bar, nothing remains but for me to choose a new computer. There is hope that the Apple geniuses might be able to transfer the data from the old hard drive onto the new when they set up the computer for me, which would be substantially cheaper than a data recovery service. Let’s hope they can, because I haven’t backed up my computer in at least a year.
The new laptop will immediately receive a keyboard-protecting film and a hardshell case. The hardshell case will then have its edges covered in foam pipe insulation or something similar. I have to expect that my new computer will fall again, so I’m going to protect it as much as possible and back up my data frequently.
While we’re on the topic, does anyone have an opinion on whether I should go for the basic macbook or the macbook pro? I don’t demand much from my computer, just photos, music, web surfing, and the occasional Word document.
I may not have a chance to blog again until I’ve chosen and bought a new computer. See you soon!
… then I’d have to say that FosterAbba’s comment about the “phallic loofah” pushed me over the line from “mostly ok, but I’d still rather sit on the couch” to “I’m fine, and I’m just going to emptythedishwasher-andmakesomesoup-andsomefreshbread-andwaitI’lljustrundowntogetthelaundry-andheylet’sprepfortomorrow’sdinnertoo…”
(on a separate note, do you know how hard it is to type without using the space bar?)
But really, I was hoping for more audience participation. The three photos in the last post are all related. Can anybody guess how? And what is that thing in the third picture?
Had I not been huddled under my duvet with the chills, I would have posted on Thursday… and Friday… but alas, I’m still not so good with the remaining upright and focusing on my computer screen -type stuff.
So instead, I’m giving you a teaser. What are these photographs about? Please, give me an entertaining narrative. I’ll blog about them for real when I’m feeing better.
I have lots of thoughts, all over the place. I also have something else I never had on my other blog – some drafts that just need a bit of tweaking before I can publish them. Hopefully I can get some of that done today and then publish one a day for the next little while.
But first, I have some serious work to do. The dishwasher must get emptied. The bedroom needs tidying. I haven’t done any big-batch cooking in ages, and I plan to rectify that as well.
Anyhow, hang tight and I’ll get back to you as soon as the bedroom and kitchen are clean and the meat sauce is bubbling in the crock-pot.
