Menu Plan Monday – May 21 Edition

It’s been nice, being away and not having to think about what to cook. Oh, I did my fair share of cooking, but my brother was the head chef and the rest of us were just sous-chefs following orders. Good thing I have a sous-chef of sorts in our part-time nanny, who is happy to chop and prepare and generally keep us in cut veggies and rinsed fruit.

Nevertheless, I still have to plan. Here’s what’s for dinner chez nous:

Monday: Barbecue at a friend’s house (thanks, Lisa!)

Tuesday: Chicken shish kebab (with onions and peppers), saffron rice

Wednesday: Falafel, pita, hummus, Israeli salad

Thursday: Tilapia Parmesan on whole wheat fettucine

Friday: Roast turkey breast, sweet potatoes, sugar snap peas, challah, fruit

Saturday: Out at a (non-Jewish) wedding

Sunday: Shavuot! Probably pizza, but maybe blintzes

Monday: Still Shavuot! No idea, but my week is done 🙂
